Lim Guan Eng once demanded an RCI into the “corporate mafia.” He even floated the idea of a DAP special congress if it did not happen. Business as usual.

Is it true that from 2027, institutions that fail to meet the 30% Bumiputera equity threshold risk being unable to renew their registration?

Is it true that tuition centres registered as sole proprietorships or enterprises with capital of RM10,000 and above are now being told they must restructure and reserve 30% equity for Bumiputeras?

Non-Bumiputera national equity has already fallen from roughly 70% in earlier decades to around 23%. The latest figures show non-Bumiputera entry into public universities sitting below 12%.

When does this stop? When is enough finally enough?

At the same time, the real crisis is staring us in the face. Under the latest PISA assessments, around 65% of our students cannot even perform basic Level 2 mathematics. Roughly 56% cannot read properly.

Our education system is producing a generation that struggles with fundamental skills — and the government’s response is to racialize the very tuition centres that parents rely on to fill the gaps left by national schools.

What exactly is Fadhlina Sidek doing as Education Minister? What is the DAP deputy education minister doing while this is happening?

It is a direct assault on ownership, investment and the right to cari makan honestly.

What direction is Anwar leading the country in when progressive voters who put this government in power are now watching the same racial tools they once criticised under BN and PN being expanded under the banner of Madani?

The flip-flop on e-invoicing that left many SMEs scrambling , the RM33.3 billion in overpaid taxes still not returned, creating real cash-flow pain; the diesel and fuel subsidy chaos; electricity hikes; minimum wage increases; SST rising from 6% to 8%.

One policy after another has piled costs and compliance burdens onto small businesses.

Now even the act of running a tuition centre is being racialised.

Why is it becoming so difficult to cari wang halal in this country?

What kind of “Madani” is this — one that claims to be progressive and inclusive while tightening racial ownership rules on the very institutions that help children of all backgrounds learn?

Anwar, Fadhlina, and the DAP leaders in government owe the country a straight answer.

If this is truly the direction of Malaysia Madani, then the progressive voters who believed in change deserve to know whether they are now being punished for placing their trust in you.

Is it Zahid Hamidi, the president of UMNO and the deputy prime minister who is disloyal to his boss the prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim? Not likely either, because wily as he is, there are limits to his intellect and, certainly, he lacks the integrity to provide that kind of protection.

Or was it Anwar Ibrahim, the prime minister who has allowed the situation in Negri Sembilan to deteriorate to what it is today by his indecisiveness, his political dishonesty, and his activity? No. Definitely not.

Because the Anwar I know, the Anwar I have seen over more than four decades, is driven by politics and will only do what is advantageous to him. Anarchy and instability in Negri Sembilan are not to his advantage.

So what did Tuanku Muhriz actually do to get someone so powerful that the chieftains, Tunku Nadzaruddin, and Rais Yatim feel they are untouchable?

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek claims the Ministry of Education wants to strengthen Korean-language learning among Malaysian students as part of the international languages offered in schools.

What Korean language? No wonder you are a “plastic” minister.

Do you even know your priorities?

Do you realise how bad our education system has become under your leadership?

The latest PISA results show more than 56% of students cannot perform basic reading. More than 65% cannot handle basic mathematics. These are historic lows.

There are 435,000 students who have not yet mastered the foundational 3M skills.

Even basic Bahasa Melayu and English are not properly mastered.

And now you want to promote Korean? We need a real Education Minister with vision — not a K-drama minister like you.

If any language other than Malay and English is to be prioritised, it should be Mandarin and Tamil. China and India are rising as global powers.

Our students are already struggling with basic STEM (math and science) and reading under the current system.

Solve the teacher shortage. Solve school bullying and safety problems.

Fix the basics first.

Everything else is distraction.

Your party has existed for more than 75 years. You boast over 1.5 million members, roughly 70 Members of Parliament, and control four state governments. And yet, after all that time, all that manpower, and all that power, you still cannot produce a single alternative budget.

Contrast that with BERSAMA. A party less than 150 days old has just dropped a nearly 200-page Shadow Budget 2027. It is packed with facts, calculations, graphs, mechanisms, and concrete plans. Not slogans. Not moral lectures. Actual numbers, actual trade-offs, actual pathways forward for Malaysia.

This is not a minor embarrassment. It is a structural indictment.

Beyond race, religion, haram and halal, what exactly are you capable of? On finance, economics, fiscal policy, mathematics and accounting you are demonstrably empty.

Your default response to almost every national issue is to radicalise it, racialise it, or bury it under conspiracy and slander. That is not opposition. That is intellectual bankruptcy dressed up as piety.

What is Dr Sam actually doing as PN chairman? What is Hamzah Zainudin doing as Opposition Leader?

Four full years in opposition and still zero alternative budgets. No coherent fiscal framework. No detailed sector strategies. No credible growth model. No serious attempt to show Malaysians what you would actually do differently with the nation’s money. Just the same tired identity politics recycled year after year.

This is why states under your control remain stubbornly backward, poor and underdeveloped. Competence is not measured by how loudly you defend religion or race. It is measured by whether you can count, prioritise, and deliver results. On that test you have failed repeatedly.

Meanwhile BERSAMA, still in its infancy, has already done what a serious opposition is supposed to do. Present a worked-out alternative. Facts over feelings. Numbers over narratives. Plans over posturing.

That is the difference between a party that treats politics as theatre and one that treats it as responsibility.

Ramanan, Stop the "Fadhlina" & "Bangla" Mathematics

Ramanan, where exactly did you extract this “more than 4 million workers will benefit from RM2,000 minimum wage starting June 2027” figure? Because the arithmetic is not just weak — it is mathematically indefensible.

Malaysia has approximately 16.19 million employed individuals.

SMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises with annual revenue under RM50 million) account for roughly 8 million workers.

Mid-tier companies (RM50–500 million revenue) employ about 2.5 million.

Large corporations and GLCs employ around 5.7 million.

The SME segment is largely shielded by the revenue threshold.

Large corporations and GLCs already pay significantly above RM2,000 — minimum wage has never been a constraint for them.

That leaves the mid-tier segment of ~2.5 million workers as the only realistic group that could be affected.

Even within that 2.5 million, the proportion currently sitting on the pure minimum wage is estimated at under 5% — translating to roughly 50,000 to 125,000 individuals. Of those, 70–80% are foreign workers.

Only about 15,000 to 25,000 Malaysian citizens stand to gain anything meaningful from this increase.

Your “4 million” claim is therefore not an optimistic projection. It is a 100-fold exaggeration.

Worse, the policy’s primary beneficiaries are foreign workers, not Malaysians. The bulk of mid-tier employees are trapped in the “missing middle” — the RM2,200 to RM4,000 semi-skilled bracket.

Raising the legal floor does almost nothing for them.

Over 40% of mid-tier workers are in manufacturing, where average wages already hover around RM3,527. The real wage problem is productivity, skills, and the absence of a proper career ladder — not the minimum wage itself.

Economically, the consequences are straightforward and ugly.

Mid-tier firms will face higher labour costs.

Malaysian entrepreneurs and corporations absorb the pain; the headline number gets the political credit.

This is not a pro-Malaysian worker policy. It is a policy that disproportionately benefits non-citizens while imposing fresh cost pressure on Malaysian businesses.

Are you the Minister for Malaysian Workers, or the Minister for Bangladeshi Workers?

And are you practising universal mathematics, or “Fadhlina Mathematics” — the kind where numbers are invented to fit the press release rather than derived from actual labour force data?

If the Ministry has a real breakdown from DOSM showing how many Malaysian citizens in firms above the RM50 million threshold currently earn below RM2,000, publish it. Until then, the 4 million figure remains what it is: a political fantasy dressed up as policy.

Stop selling inflated numbers. Malaysians can count. And right now, the numbers say this policy helps foreigners more than citizens while punishing the very employers who create local jobs.
